R-2140 is a versatile rutile TiO2 pigment via sulphate process which is used in paints and coatings. It provides good optical properties in the pigmented system. The pigment type TINOX R-2140 is suitable for indoor and outdoor applications and is characterized by a long service life of the pigment properties. This TiO2 pigment type provides good gloss properties and strong hiding power with strong tinting strength and good dispersibility. BILLIONS™ LR-108 pigment is an alumina treated rutile titanium dioxide pigment made by the sulfate process. It is specially designed for masterbatch and compounding applications.
BILLIONS™ LR-108 pigment disperses easily in polyolefins, with minimal effect on melt flow index, so that even masterbatch with high TiO2 concentration can produce film with high opacity and whiteness.
BILLIONS™ LR-108 pigment is recommended for plastics applications that require high thermal stability. It is designed with a hydrophobic surface that acts as a barrier to help prevent the pigment from absorbing moisture from the air.
